find a good trainer in your area, before he does some damage like biting someone, your local vet im sure has names of trainers in your area or go on line to akc.com they can help you there.
    good luck!

This is the best service in the world. They will come and train your dog, as well as teach you how your dog communicates and teach you how to continue the dog training on your own. They are a bit expensive, but then again a dog like yours is also not inexpensive. It is worth it? YES!!! This company has saved thousands of vicious dogs from going to the pound (or being euthanized).
You always have to keep in mind, dogs are not like people. They do not have the same reasoning capability. They have a two-step thought process and do not connect chains of thought like we humans do. Dogs are pack-animals and you are the pack- leader (even if you only have one dog). You must be the “alpha” at all times. A lot of people are uncomfortable with this because it means being assertive at times. But there is nothing cruel or inhumane about it, you just have to continually re-establish your position as the pack leader and your dog will come in line. There’s more on the website:

    Good luck!

Most behavior issues can be solved with exercise, exercise, exercise!Others can be solved with a leash.
Yours should be solved with both so I suggest you get busy.
Before you do anything tho you need to identify what sets the dog off.And think about why the dog acts in such a manner.
Was the dog abused before you got it?
How do you treat the dog?Is it locked inside all day while you work?Do you take the dog with you when you go most places? Is dog only aggressive toward food or other dogs or just certain people? You have’nt been specific enough.
Greyhounds require an awful lot of exercise. With the little info you’ve given it’s my guess that dog needs to be altered so it will be calmer. And everyday it should be taken for a couple of 30min.walks and to a place where it can RUN at least once a day.A tired dog does’nt bite it sleeps.

Is the pet neutered or spayed? If not, do that first. If the dog is really vicious, (REALLY VICIOUS) you stand a big chance of being at the wrong end of a law suit. Just like people, some individual dogs are a bit nuts. In the case of people, they commit crimes, and finally end up in jail. We don’t have that option for dogs. In your place, I’d get another dog. There are sooooooooooo many dogs that need a nice home to mess with some critter 37 degrees off center (i.e., nuts). If you bought it from a breeder, take it back.
