How Do You Train A Dog To Go On Puppy Pads?

I have a 2 year old Italian Greyhound ( the small Greyhounds). I want to train her to go on puppy pads. We have a boat so we have to train her to go on the puppy pads so when we go across the lake. Any suggestions or tips on how to get started.

Place it wherever she goes the most. If she poos (not on the pad), rub her nose in it and tell her sternly, “NO!” Move it to the pad using the appropriate hygenic materials (gloves, gas mask, etc.). Then rub her nose in it again, nicer this time, and tell her, “Good girl.”
Italian greyhounds are smart. She should pick it up in a few days (optimistically).
    Good luck!

I would say, get a doggy crate and place her in iqt with puppy pads on the floor and tell her to go pee. If that don’t work, then it is true what they say, you can’t teach an old dog new tricks.

When you see your dog about to go in your house, put a pad under him. Eventually he will learn thats where to go. If you want him to go outside, once he has the hang of the puppy pads, move them closer to the door and outside. Praise him when he goes where he is supposed to. Hope this helps.
