these have to be the worse dogs ever they **** and piss on everything no matter how much you take them out, or walk them, or praise them they do not get it at all!! they now wear shock collars to keep them away for stuff in the house, or from jumping over gates but these dumb dogs seem to get into more trouble. i tried crate training everyone said oh they don’t like to go wear they sleep or eat, that was a bunch of bullcrap they **** and piss in the crate and lay in it and they are only in there 2hrs and they have their own crates that are perfect for their size i seriously want to just get rid of them but i spent so much money on them that i would be just throwing it all away! what can i do? i have to keep them i got them for my 4yr son but they are the worst dogs ever !!!!!

the 4 month old mini pinscher i had did that i think because of marking. i have a rott and the mini pin was next to him in the crate and he always tried to pee on him. he peed and crapped all over his cage no matter what i did. i gave the min pin to my brother and he doesn’t do it there at all. they take him out 4 times a day and nothing like that happens. maybe try to separate them abit… im sorry if i didn’t help any…
Please — just rehome them and let someone who will take the time and trouble with them take them training.
You NEVER get two pups together. No good breeder should of sold you two pups together or if they are not litter mates then you should of done your research.
You NEVER put shock collars on timid frail dogs like Italian greyhounds.
You NEVER buy dogs for a 4 yr old child, especially something so delicate.
Just rehome them through a breed rescue and cut your losses.
Since you have decided they are the ‘worst dogs ever’. Rehome them.
Keeping these dogs with the attitude you have and obviously do not want to change, it is better for the DOGS to find them another home that is more tolerant and can give them the proper training and exercise.
You, obviously, haven’t taken the time to train them. I suggest that you rehome them to someone who will take the time to train them properly. Why do you HAVE to keep them? I doubt that your 4 year old son really gives a hoot. Out of sight, out of mind!
you obviously don’t have the patience, time,or dedication to make this work “no matter what” i hope your son behaves.
First thing NEVER use shock collars, I have been a dog trainer for quite some time now and I have seen owners using them only to intensify problems or create new ones. Dogs like greyhounds or Italian greyhounds for that matter can be difficult to train at first, but they will get it. Having two of them of course makes it harder. Maybe you should try to re-home one of them to give the other fill attention.Contact the breeder or person you got them from to see if they will take one back. Also make sure they are neutered as this will cut back on marking behaviors. These are small dogs, so put them on a feeding schedule where you feed them in the morning, after they are finished take them out and stand out there until they do their business, then praise. Put the water bowl down for fifteen minutes at various times during the day then take it up and take them out, having them on a set schedule will help you to know when they are going to pee or poo. Also, take them out right before you put them in the crate and then right after you open the crate. I hope this helps.
