A week ago i tried to contact Arizona humane society about shots and punched in the search bar just that...AHS and everything about greyhounds, from adoption to trainning and breeding to who know what else and nothing about rabie shots came up so you might try there.

I don't know of any sites for greyhounds that don't pertain to retired racers. You could check the AKC website under greyhounds but there won't be anything on raising and training. There are however, a couple of good books out there -
'Greyhounds, a Complete Pet Owners Manual', as well as 'Retired Racing Greyhouhds for Dummies' has a lot of useful info on feeding, health care, etc. that's specific to greyhounds. As far as training, given a greyhound's temperament and personality you can't go wrong with clicker training. These dogs are sensitive, and learn very quickly through positive reinforcement, hence, clicker training is perfect for them.
My first 2 greys were taught "watch me" with a clicker when I first got them 6 years ago, and to this day if I say the words, they're watching me, alert, and ready for what I want next. Have fun with your puppy!!
