Who Has Adopted A Greyhound?

I am doing some research on Greyhounds I am interested in adopting one but have to have some info to tell my mom and things.
1.After you got the dog home did it have behavior problems or separation anxiety?
2.Was it easy to train?
3.Did it develop health problems soon after?
4.Is it only possible to adopt retired racers?
I am not sure if these are the right questions to ask or not feel free to give me some more advice or some things your grey did.Oh yeah about question number four I want to adopt a retired racer I was just curios I have only seen retired racers on petfinder.That las one is pretty sh*tty.Sorry.

My Adopted Greyhound Is Peeing On The Carpet–help!?

My 7 year old female greyhound has decided to start peeing by my baby grand piano. I’ve had the carpet cleaned, I’ve told her “no pee!” and she seems to know, but somehow she goes back to that area. I can’t seem to catch her in the act. She gets lazy about going outside when it’s cold. I really like the dog, but am concerned about this. I wonder if I should get her a crate (which I’m sure she will not like) to go in while I am out. I would like to hear from others who have adopted Greyhounds and how they have trained them.

I’ve Just Adopted My First Greyhound. Anyone Have Success Training Them To Take The Stairs For The First Time?

my new dog is a female from the track. she is lovely, is getting
along well with my two high maintenance small dogs. i am
concerned about her learning to use our stairs to the back
yard. she is scared of them so i have to walk her around the
house to put her in the yard. my other dogs go up and down
the stairs.any ideas for a successful training situation?
