How Do People Live With Dogs Peeing And Pooing Inside Their Home?

I have been watching Victoria Stilwell’s “It’s Me or the Dog” and I am amazed how people can live in a home with dogs peeing and pooing everywhere. I don’t mean puppies which are being trained. It is natural that they will have accidents. I am referring to fully grown dogs which should, if they had been properly trained, known better.
The show the other day was 2 Greyhounds (gorgeous dogs) which were gated in the kitchen overnight and every morning and when they returned home there was pee and poo all over the kitchen. Video footage showed the dogs walking through it and then jumping up onto the kitchen benches. How can people live like that? It makes my stomach turn just thinking about it. My own dogs have been trained to stay out of the kitchen altogether – let alone not peeing and pooing through the house.
The stench must be stomach turning in their homes.
How can they live with this every day of their lives?

Getting My Dogs To Stay In Their Outdoor Doghouse?

Hi all, this is my first time asking a question here. A bit of background: I have two SPCA dogs, the younger one is about a year and a half old German Shepherd (may have some greyhound), and the older one is about 2 and a half and is malamute/husky.
The older one is very furry and I don’t worry about him at all in this -30 cold. But the younger one doesn’t have much of an undercoat. They have a dog run in the back, and we keep them out there during the day.
We built them a doghouse big enough for the both of them, so that they could share their heat during the winter. Problem is, I’m not sure if they actually use it. Is there any product or anything I could use to make them like it? I’ve put hay inside so the ground isn’t freezing, plus I’ve sprinkled a few treats inside. They’re crate trained, so they’re not afraid of it, and we occasionally physically put them in and they don’t seem to mind, but I’m worried they don’t acutally use it…
Thanks!

Do Greyhounds Like To Go For Long Runs, Such As Training For Marathons With Their Owners, Or Only Shorter Runs?

I like what greyhounds look like and the idea of saving a dog. I like to run long distances. Do greyhounds like to run long distances with their owners or just shorter distances? How far do they like to run each day? I can’t have one right now but when I get to the right place and time, I would really like to look into having one or two greyhounds.

How To Train A Dog To Sleep In Their Own Bed?

I have a 9-month old italian greyhound. I made the mistake of letting him sleep with me at night when we sleep. He loves to sleep with me and loves to cuddle. I decided that I would really like to train him to sleep in his own bed at night. is there ANY ways I can do this. Any advice to help train him to do this?
