My Dog Is 11 Months Old, She Is House Trained But Has Been Goin Lately On The Floor…?

She usually scratches at the door, but we have been keeping my boyfriends mom’s dog for about a week, and lately she has been going on the floor and not scratching. I dont know what to do. we usually put her in her cage and let her stay in there for a little while. I dont know if it is the breed or what is going on with her. She is a jack russell and pointer mix (i think it is jack russell and greyhound but the pound told us pointer). If anyone has any suggestions please help!!

My Dog Is Crate Trained Mostly But On Occasion?

he poops in his cage. The big problem is that he eats it. I am very frustrated over this. I am not sure how to stop him from pooping in the cage or how to get him to stop eating it. Any serious info would be appreciated. By the way, he is an Itailian Greyhound and is about 9 months old and is completely house trained.

Adult Italian Greyhound Still Not Potty Trained?

I have a 5 year old Italian greyhound female. I got her when she was 9 weeks old. She is now 5 years old and still not potty trained! I let her out ever 2 hours even at night time, she will potty out side and then come in side and use the bathroom. I have read so many books on potty training dogs. She some times used puppy pad, but not all the time. She is utd on her shots. A very health dog, with a bad habit.
I love her so much but I’m getting tired of cleaning up pee and poop.

My 9 Month Greyhound Is Crate Trained Want To Get Her Out Of It So That She Can Join A New Dog We Are Getting?

My greyhound is crate-trained in that she goes in there when I am out (once or twice a week) for 3 hours and is clean. She sleeps by my bed during the night – which we are happy with. We are getting a new dog (a 10 month old greyhoundxgerman shepherd lurcher) in 2 weeks for company for her as she has slight seperation anxiety, although she does settle down in her cage usually – although neighbours said they heard howling the other day. Apparantly, the new dog does not require a crate.
Three issues
1. how do I get her out of the crate? – she is a bit chewy.
2. how do I settle the new dog in?
3. how do I ensure that they get on, particularly when left?
Thanks
