My Italian Greyhound Will Not Stop Peeing In My Boyfriends Bed! Help Me?
Filed under Care & Training Q&As
Hi,
I have a three year old italian greyhound. He has always been notoriously resistant to house training despite the efforts of absolutely everyone I know pitching in to help.
Recently I moved into a house with my boyfriend. He has his own room (for sanity’s sake), and we spend almost equal amount of time sleeping in his room and my room. The dog sleeps with us in the room in a doggie bed.
Now, NORMALLY, he’s ok as far as accidents in the house go as long as we keep an eye on him. At night, we make sure he’s peed and bundle him up in his bed and he wont get up until morning when we let him out. When we sleep in my room, he crawls up into the bed in the morning when we wake up and snuggles.
When we sleep in HIS room, however, he crawls up in the bed in the morning and pees all over us. Today he peed while I was holding him and after we punished him he peed again on his futon.
This is, understandably, very stressful. Any insight here? Advice?
Thanks in advance!

Should I Get A Italian Greyhound And Will My Toy Poodle Be To Much For It ?
Filed under Care & Training Q&As
I have been wanting to get another dog for the longest time. And i have always loved the poodle and IG(italian greyhound) I reseached the poodle majorly before i got my dog. Since i want a IG i have been researching them and they sound like they are very fragile, is that true. And my toy poodle is a fiesty when he plays. Some dogs even bigger than him dont like him because he doesnt understand that he has to stop. But i was thinking my dog loves to be chased and italian greyhounds love to chase. So wouldnt that work out? Also the italian greyhound could run and escape from my dog and not get as tired as my dog would.
So is getting a IG when i already have a 11lb toy poodle smart?
Do IG make good hypoallergenic dogs? (my definition is they go well with people with allergies)
Are IG very fragile?
Do they like water?
Is it better to get one as a puppy or adult?
Shelter or breeder? (which one will the dog be better behavied and more importantly potty trained)
Anything these really important i should know?
